Skin Health Tip #1 - Radiant Skin, the Natural Way
One of the most important skin nutrients is vitamin A. Vitamin A protects overall skin condition and promotes wound healing. Carotene, a water-soluble nutrient found in many foods, is converted into Vitamin A in the intestines. Carotene rich vegetables and fruit such as kale, spinach, carrots, apricots, cantaloupe and papaya are highly recommended to improving the overall appearance of your skin.
Skin Health Tip #2 - Dry or Itchy Skin?
Do you suffer from dry or itchy skin? You may want to keep a few of these tips in mind. Bathe, don't shower. A shower equals an infinite number of rinsings. Soaking in a tub removes less of your natural oils. Don't use bath oil. Most goes down the drain. Instead, step out onto an absorbent mat and apply moisturizer while your skin is still wet, sealing in water and pat dry. Choose a mild soap. A major cause of dry skin is the daily use of harsh soap which actually just irritate your skin.
Skin Health Tip #3 - Cleansing and Scrubbing
Daily cleansing and scrubbing is the key to removing dead skin cells. A cleanser is a product that removes dirt and oil from your skin. Use either a creamy cleanser or foaming facial cleansing gel. Look for a spreadable consistency. A cleanser should not soak into your skin too easily. A scrub, which is used as exfolliating agent, should have as many natural ingredients as possible. Two ingredients, sea kelp and sea salt, have the necessary abrasive action, are antibacterial and give a smooth, refined texture to the skin. When using a scrub, dampen your fingers first with water - the additional moisture will give the scrub more spreadability. Use it gently at first until you get used to the abrasive action. The word "scrub" or "cleanser" should be clearly marked on the container you buy.
Skin Health Tip #4 - Improve your Circulation for Better Skin
Walking, yoga, saunas, massage and dry skin brushing are excellent ways to improve skin health. All of these practices increase circulation to bring blood to the skin, which supplies nutrients and stimulates growth of new cells, and help slough off dead skin cells. Dry skin brushing can easily be done at home. Buy a loofah or long handled skin brush. Each day before you shower, brush your entire body using small, circular motions.
Skin Health Tip #5 - Shaving Tips for Men

- Shaving in the shower is most beneficial because it will help soften the hair and open pores making shaving easier.

- Rinse all cream or gel with cold water.
- Always use a moisturizer after shaving to reduce irritation.
