Key Ingredients:

Boswellia (Latin name: Boswellia Serrata)
Boswellia has been used extensively in Ayurveda for joint support and to provide and overall sense of well-being. Also known as "Salai Guggul," it is like its cousin Guggul in offering broad health and immunomodulating benefits. The immunomodulating benefits of Boswellia are the key to support healthy joints. One active constituent of Boswellia is Boswellic Acid, which is a pyrazoline derivative shown to be very effective in supporting healthy joints as well. The gum resin of Boswellia, secreted from the cortex, has also been traditionally used as incense because of its fragrant properties. Boswellia also has many cholesterol and triglyceride lowering properties.

Licorice (Latin name: Glycyrrhiza Glabra)
Licorice is a versatile medicine in both India and China and has been primarily used to promote gastrointestinal health. It is a mild laxative which soothes and tones the mucous membranes and relieves muscle spasms. Clinical studies have proven Licorice extracts to be as effective as many synthetic alternatives. Licorice is rich in flavonoids and is currently under intense investigation as an antioxidant and as a cancer-protecting botanical boosting certain immune functions such as interferon production. Its mode of action is as an anti-mutagen, which prevents damage to genetic material.

Musk Mallow (Latin name: Hibiscus Abelmoschus)
Musk Mallow has been shown effective for nervous debility and in helping maintain healthy joints. It has been traditionally used to support a healthy sex life. An emulsion made from the seeds is regarded as antispasmodic and used as an aphrodisiac.

Indian Madder (Latin name: Rubia Cordifolia)
Indian Madder is considered the best Ayurvedic blood-purifying herb. In Ayurvedic medicine, it is used as an immune regulator. Its antioxidant properties are also being investigated. Indian Madder's role in supporting heart health is evidenced by studies that show that it regulates blood pressure, blood vessel constriction and the tendency of blood to form clots.

Small Caltrops (Latin name: Tribulus Terrestris)
Small Caltrops (also known as Gokshura) is a mild diuretic. It contains saponins that helps maintain healthy coronary arteries and circulation, and improve the overall heart function by dilating coronary arteries, thereby boosting circulation to the heart. In a Chinese study, when 406 coronary heart disease patients were treated with these saponins, their EKG improved in 67% of the cases. It has also been used to promote urinary tract health. It promotes the flow of urine, cools and soothes the membranes of the urinary tract and inhibits the production of oxalate, a substance that causes microcrystals.

Guduchi (Latin name: Tinospora Cordifolia)
Guduchi has been proven to be effective in inhibiting the growth of bacteria and enhancing the buildup of immune resistance. Scientific research is now providing clues to Guduchi's immune-boosting ability to fight diseases. In a study using human white blood cells, Guduchi increased the killing ability of macrophages, the immune cells responsible for fighting invaders.

Horseradish Tree (Latin name: Moringa Pterygosperma)
Horseradish Tree contains a physiologically active constituent that has been shown to be effective in a broad range of health needs. For example, it contains 'Pterygospermin', an antibiotic-like substance
