Arthraquinones are the chemical components that make Noni so effective. The specific arthraquinone is damnacanthal. Damnacanthal has a purgative property and has a “cleansing and balancing” effect on the body. Noni contains octanoic acid. A recent scientific study resulted in finding a chemical constitutes of Noni called noni-ppt. Noni-ppt exhibits anti tumor activity.
